Placing your 4 rd finger (little finger) in the 3 rd fret of the D string.Placing your 3 nd finger (ring finger) in the 2 nd fret of the G string.Placing your 2 nd finger (middle finger) in the 1 st fret of the B string.Placing your 1 st finger (index finger) in the 1 st fret of the E string.Strumming just the D string down (don?t strum the Low E or the A string).Placing your 3 rd finger (ring finger) in the 3 rd fret of the d string.Placing your 2 nd finger (middle finger) in the 2 nd fret of the G string.Barring your 1 st finger (index finger) across the 1 st fret of the B string and E string.This is probably the most known of all the F chords (except maybe the F barre chord). >Basic Chords on Guitar F Chord 1 st Variation: Open F If you aren’t sure about how to read the chord charts below also check out that link.
